Nigerian singer and DJ Cuppy has launched the “Cuppy Fund,” a scholarship program supporting African students at New York University (NYU).
Cuppy announced the initiative on Instagram, expressing pride in helping African students achieve their academic goals.
According to her, she graduated from the institution in 2016 and she is using this medium to support Africans.
The Cuppy Fund, managed by the Cuppy Foundation, will provide financial aid to deserving students at NYU’s Steinhardt School.
Meanwhile, this move comes after Cuppy completed her fourth degree from the London School of Economics.
“Cuppy’s generosity will make a significant impact on African students pursuing higher education in the United States,” said an NYU spokesperson.
