BURNA BOY CLOSES THE OFF WHITE FALL/WINTER 2025 RUNWAY SHOW TITLED “STATE OF THE RESISTANCE”

The Off-White Fall/Winter 2025 runway show, titled “State of the Resistance,” captivated audiences with a dynamic fusion of fashion, music, and cultural commentary. Held at a transformed industrial space, the event showcased the brand’s commitment to pushing boundaries and addressing contemporary issues through creative expression. The show was held at the 2 Place Du Colonel Fabien in Paris.

The collection drew inspiration from themes of resilience and defiance, reflecting a world grappling with social and political challenges. Designs featured utilitarian elements, bold silhouettes, and a palette dominated by earthy tones combined with vibrant accents. Creative director, IB Kamara opened the doors to his dystopian world, showing to the world apocalyptic streetwear made to stand out in the crowd.

Metal studs, bedazzled details, and pinned shirting made bold statements alongside bird-printed neckties. Pocket-heavy berets and animalistic accessories added a rebellious edge, seamlessly transitioning between looks. Swollen bomber jackets and hooded parkas were cinched with military-inspired belts, while flight-ready coats and baggy washed denim featured Off-White™’s signature frayed crossed arrow logo. Straight-cut jeans were ripped to reveal checkered star patterns, and the season’s bird emblem took flight across wool varsity jackets, rugged workwear, and leather truckers.
