Bottega Veneta has ventured into the design world again, this time collaborating with Italian brand Flos to create a special edition of the famous Model 600 table lamp. Originally designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1966, the lamp was groundbreaking in its flexible, soft form, unlike its rigid counterparts.
Its leather base, filled with lead shot pellets, made it adaptable, allowing it to be set down and angled with ease.
Drawing parallels between the lamp’s design and Bottega Veneta’s soft, supple leather bags, the collaboration celebrates both brands’ Italian heritage.
The new version of the lamp now features Bottega Veneta’s signature Intrecciato weave and Intreccio Foulard finishes. The flexible base is retained, enabling the lamp to provide either direct or soft lighting based on its positioning.
Available in both small and large sizes, the limited edition lamp comes in a range of luxurious colors: black, grey, red, emerald green, and the signature Bottega Veneta green.
This collaboration merges high fashion with industrial design, elevating the lamp into a must-have statement piece for design enthusiasts.
