AWAKE NY TEASES A JORDAN 5 COLLABORATION WITH NIKE

Awake NY, the renowned streetwear brand founded by Angelo Baque, has officially announced a collaboration with Jordan Brand to release two exclusive Air Jordan 5 colorways in 2025. This partnership celebrates the 35th anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 5 silhouette, blending Awake NY’s distinctive urban aesthetic with Jordan Brand’s storied basketball heritage.

The first release, dubbed “Arctic Pink,” is scheduled for August 29, 2025. This iteration features a vibrant Arctic Pink upper complemented by Metallic Silver accents, University Red highlights, and contrasting Black and White details. While official images have yet to be unveiled, enthusiasts anticipate unique Awake NY branding throughout the design, enhancing the sneaker’s exclusivity. Additionally, co-branded packaging is expected to accompany the release, offering a premium unboxing experience.

Following the “Arctic Pink” release, the “Racer Blue” colorway is set to drop on September 19, 2025. This version is anticipated to showcase a predominantly Black upper with Racer Blue and Metallic Silver accents, maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. Similar to its counterpart, the “Racer Blue” edition will likely feature distinctive Awake NY branding and come packaged in exclusive co-branded boxes. Both colorways will be available through Awake NY, select Jordan Brand retailers, and online at Nike.com, each priced at $225. 

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both brands, merging Awake NY’s contemporary streetwear influence with the timeless appeal of the Air Jordan legacy.
