Denim Tears, the fashion label helmed by designer Tremaine Emory, has unveiled its latest collection: the Cashmere SWAROVSKI® Cotton Wreath. This 18-piece lineup, launching on February 21, 2025, at 11 a.m. EST, features a luxurious blend of cashmere and cotton adorned with hundreds of individual SWAROVSKI® crystals. The collection includes hoodies, sweatpants, sweat shorts, and T-shirts, each showcasing the brand’s signature Cotton Wreath motif reimagined with sparkling embellishments. Available in limited quantities, the pieces come in three colorways: black, pink, and grey.
The Cotton Wreath motif, central to Denim Tears’ identity, symbolizes the African Diaspora and African American history. In this collection, the motif is elevated through the intricate application of SWAROVSKI® crystals, creating a striking visual and tactile experience. The use of a cashmere and cotton blend further enhances the luxurious feel of the garments, reflecting the brand’s commitment to quality and storytelling through fashion.

This release follows Denim Tears’ recent collaboration with Stüssy, unveiled earlier in February 2025. The co-branded pieces drew inspiration from Emory’s high school years and featured a reimagined Double S Cotton Wreath design. The Cashmere SWAROVSKI® Cotton Wreath collection continues this narrative, blending personal history with cultural symbolism to create pieces that resonate on multiple levels.
Priced between $70 for T-shirts and $1,440 for the Cashmere SWAROVSKI® Cotton Wreath Zip Hoodie, the collection will be available both in-store at African Diaspora Goods in SOHO, New York City, and online via the Denim Tears website. Given the limited quantities and the brand’s dedicated following, the collection is anticipated to sell out quickly. This launch not only showcases Denim Tears’ innovative design approach but also reinforces its mission to explore and celebrate African American heritage through fashion.
