Shaq Is Now in Fortnite – Get Ready for the Shaq Shimmy!

Shaquille O’Neal, better known as Shaq, is officially making his way into the Fortnite universe. This latest addition to Fortnite’s expansive roster of characters brings the NBA legend and entertainment icon to the gaming platform, joining the likes of LeBron James and other athletes who have made their in-game debut.

The Shaq skin is set to be available starting Saturday, October 5th, just in time for the major mid-season event. Players eager to get their hands on this legendary skin will be able to purchase it from the Fortnite store using V-Bucks, with an estimated price of around 2,000 V-Bucks. 

The skin is expected to feature multiple versions, including the Shaq (DJ Diesel) Outfit, styled after his DJ persona, and the Super Shaq skin, offering a superhero-inspired look with seven customizable color options.

One of the exciting features of these skins is their dynamic nature—Shaq’s DJ Diesel Outfit lights up as players rack up eliminations. Players will also have the option to customize Shaq’s look by removing accessories like his glasses or hat. The skins even have corresponding Lego Fortnite figures, offering fans another way to enjoy Shaq’s in-game persona.

Shaq himself on Tech Radar expressed his excitement for this new venture, saying, “I’ve dominated the court, rocked stadiums, and now it’s time to dominate Fortnite! Each chapter of my career has been about breaking boundaries and creating epic experiences.”
