On this week’s edition of hottest drops, we feature a cross-continental volume of stars like Juls, Phyno, Nasty C, and some of the rising stars horizontally.

Phyno releases His Magnum Opus – “Full Time Job”

Prolific rapper and singer, Phyno releases his fifth studio album, “Full Time Job”. This 15-track masterpiece is an in-depthyno’s music journey, merging his Igbo roots with global music influences.

“Full-Time Job” is Phyno’s most dynamic project yet, boasting an all-star lineup: Burna Boy, Fave, Chip, Arrdee, Cheque, Flavour, NSG, and Johnny Drille. This album isn’t just a showcase of Phyno’s versatility; it’s a cultural export, bridging Nigeria to the world, as always!

The album kicks off with the assertive “It’s Nothing”, setting the tone for a thrilling ride. Standout tracks like “Back Outside” (feat. Cheque), “Eyes On Them” (feat. Chip), and “Time Of My Life” (feat. Arrdee) showcases Phyno’s unmatched energy.

Phyno’s lyrical prowess shines in “Deep” (feat. Fave) and “Sweet Karma” (feat. Johnny Drille), while “DO I” (feat. Burna Boy) reminds us why he’s one of Nigeria’s biggest hits. “Men Don Show Face” (feat. Flavour) and “Pinterest” (feat. NSG) pushes the boundaries of Phyno’s musical exploration.

“Full-Time Job” is more than an album; it’s Phyno’s manifesto – a declaration of his artistry, culture, and global relevance.

Juls Marks a New Chapter with “TIMING” Featuring Black Sherif and Projexx

Ghanaian-British producer Evers returns with his new single “Timing” – a soulful reflection on family, culture, and the Caribbean and West Africa; Juls teams up with trusted goons Black Sherif and Projexx, blending Rasta and Afro vibes.

“Timing” is released ahead of sophomore album, Peace & Love, a decade in the making.

Speaking on Timing, Juls says: “Timing is a record that speaks about trying to make as much time as we can for our loved ones, despite our crazy schedules as artists. It was great collaborating with my brother from my homeland, Black Sherif, and, of course, Projexx, who is like my family; we’ve been creating amazing music over the years. It was a good connection between Ghana and Jamaica because there is a lot of history there, culturally, historically, and musically as well. I just wanted to blend the cultures to make a beautiful love song that had elements of highlife and reggae.”

Nasty C takes Amapiano by storm with “Life of The Party”

Nasty C just dropped his  Amapiano debut, “Life of The Party”! This party starter features some heavy hitters, Leeka Beats, and Daliwonga, making it clear Nasty is bringing the heat.

The intro’s got Nasty laughing, setting the tone for a wild ride. This track’s a departure from his usual hip-hop blend, but it’s obvious he is killing the Amapiano game!

And that’s not all – Nasty C’s hitting the road this month! His European tour kicks off on October 25th in Freitag, Germany, as announced on his Instagram page.

“Life of The Party” is Nasty’s first foray into Amapiano, and more of this would be his fans love to see.
