KIDSUPER’S SS25 COLLECTION CAMPAIGN, DIRECTED BY ELLIOT HENSFORD, BLENDS FASHION WITH CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S THEATRICS

KidSuper, the innovative fashion label helmed by Colm Dillane, unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection titled “It’s All Up In The Air” at Paris Fashion Week. The event was a groundbreaking fusion of fashion and performance art, as KidSuper collaborated with the renowned Cirque du Soleil to create a mesmerizing spectacle that transcended traditional runway shows. Held at the historic Le Trianon theater, the show captivated audiences with its dynamic blend of high fashion and acrobatic artistry.

The collection explored themes of interconnectedness and control, using the visual metaphor of strings and puppetry to delve into the forces that influence our lives. Cirque du Soleil performers brought this concept to life, intertwining with models on the runway to create a seamless narrative that questioned who or what controls the strings in our existence. This introspective approach added depth to the presentation, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own experiences.

Dillane’s designs showcased his signature eclectic style, featuring a vibrant palette, bold graphic prints, and intricate silhouettes. The collection incorporated rich textures such as leather and patchwork, adding a tactile dimension to the garments. Baggier tailoring introduced a contemporary edge, while the use of jacquard fabrics transformed artwork into wearable pieces, highlighting Dillane’s ability to merge art and fashion seamlessly.

This collection campaign was directed by Elliot Hensford and TJ Saw. Different parts of the collection will continuously drop for the next couple of weeks.

A standout element of the collection was the creative reinterpretation of denim, with unique twists that revitalized this classic material. Cropped silhouettes reminiscent of early 2000s fashion were updated for a modern audience, blending nostalgia with innovation. The circus theme culminated in a special capsule of co-branded KidSuper and Cirque du Soleil items, exemplifying the harmonious fusion of both brands. An exclusive costume, designed collaboratively by Dillane and Cirque du Soleil, epitomized the synergy between fashion and performance art, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
