WIZKID, BURNA BOY, AND DAVIDO SHINE AT ELUMELU’S WHITE PARTY

Tony Elumelu’s annual All-White Party has become a staple of Lagos’ December festivities, and the 2024 edition, held on December 23, did not fall short of its reputation for glitz, glamour, and an unrivaled guest list. The event, hosted at Elumelu’s luxurious residence, brought together the crème de la crème of Nigerian society for a night of celebration, networking, and unforgettable entertainment. With a theme that demanded sophistication, every guest arrived in stunning white ensembles that added to the ethereal ambiance of the evening.

Music was undoubtedly one of the night’s biggest highlights, with performances from some of the most revered names in the Nigerian music industry. Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido lit up the stage, delivering captivating sets that kept the crowd on their feet. Burna Boy’s energetic delivery of It’s Plenty and Bundle By Bundle and a couple other songs was a standout moment, while Wizkid had the crowd vibing to Kese and Ojuelegba (amongst other tracks). Davido came in hot with a solid performance of Awuke and Feel, as well as other hits.

The rare moment of camaraderie when Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy shared the stage was an unforgettable spectacle, leaving attendees buzzing long after the show. It marked the second time this month that not one, not two but all three of them performed at the very same event, the first time being at the Oando Plc end of year party, just last week. History in the making, literally. 

Beyond the music, the party’s allure lay in its eclectic mix of attendees. Political figures, business moguls, reality stars, fashion designers, social media influencers and all round entertainment elites mingled effortlessly, embodying the unity and prestige that the event represents. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu was seen sharing moments with Wizkid, While Davido was seen interacting with Burna Boy’s mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, underscoring the event’s significance in bridging different sectors of society. Sensational Nigerian artist, Flavour was present and business mogul, Obi Cubana’s presence was noted as well. Cameroonian football legend Samuel Eto’o was present as well as super Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen. There was also this year’s Miss Universe Chidimma Adetshina, Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja and stand out comedian Bovi amongst a host of other outstanding individuals in every niche you can think of.

The fashion was truly a spectacle, with guests embracing the white theme with creative flair, from traditional agbadas to sleek suits. From dazzling flowy dresses to regal kimonos and cute little dresses–attendees ate their looks up.

The energy of the night extended beyond the stage, with guests indulging in fine dining, dancing, and connecting in a setting that radiated luxury and elegance.
