WILLOW SMITH’S MONCLER DEBUT BLURS THE LINES BETWEEN FASHION AND EXPRESSION

Willow Smith’s debut collection with Moncler is officially here, merging her artistic vision with the Italian luxury brand’s design ethos. The ready-to-wear line was first unveiled in October during Shanghai Fashion Week, where Willow was announced as part of the new Moncler Genius co-creator roster alongside figures like Donald Glover, ASAP Rocky, and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

The collection stands out for its exploration of contrasts, combining utilitarian minimalism with bold femininity and masculinity. Key pieces include a down jacket dress and a reinvented Moncler logo. Adding a personal touch, Willow incorporated handwritten lyrics from her 2023 song “Alone” into the designs.

In press notes, Willow explained her inspiration: “Minimalism and utilitarianism. Femininity and masculinity. Black and white. Bringing juxtaposing ideas together in an elegant way is something that really excites me, and I wanted to explore that in this collection.”

The launch is accompanied by a Willow-directed short film and soundtrack, capturing the collection’s futuristic vibe. Available at select Moncler stores and online, the pieces celebrate Moncler’s boundary-pushing ethos and Willow’s unique perspective.

In parallel to her fashion milestone, Willow’s music career continues to soar. Her album Empathogen recently earned two 2025 Grammy nominations, including Best Arrangement, Instrumental, and Vocals and Best Engineered Non-Classical Album. Her father, Will Smith, celebrated her success on social media, expressing pride in her achievements.
