VANS UNVEILS NEW “FUTURE CLOG” COLLECTION

Vans’ OTW label has once again pushed the boundaries of sneaker design in collaboration with S.R. Studio LA. CA., the creative imprint of artist Sterling Ruby. At the heart of this third joint project lies the Future Clog, a radical reinvention inspired by Ruby’s Dutch heritage and childhood memories of his grandfather’s clogs. The core concept: honor tradition while leaping into the abstract future.

The design houses a streamlined mule inside a bulky, angular clog shell, merging form and function into one bold shoe. The inner mule has a split top instead of a tongue, while the exterior shell channels classic Dutch wooden clogs with a sharp, futuristic twist.

This collection drops in three standout colorways: bold marbled yellow, clean all-white, and a monochrome gray with a contrasting black mule. The yellow version is exclusive via srstudio.com, while the others are slated for release on Vans.com starting August 21.

Beyond footwear, the capsule includes remixed staples like Old Skool and Authentic sneakers, plus apparel and accessories, think marbled jerseys, travel bags, and socks that echo the collection’s experimental aesthetic.
