UNBELIEVABLE LUXURY CAR UPGRADES: PORSCHE AND AIMÉ LEON DORE’S LATEST COLLABORATION

Since 2020, Porsche and the New York-based fashion brand Aimé Leon Dore (ALD), led by Teddy Santis, have collaborated on stunning restorations of iconic Porsche cars. These projects merge the timeless elegance of Porsche with ALD’s commitment to craftsmanship and bold, understated design. The result? Luxury cars aren’t just restored, they’re reborn as masterpieces that turn heads and redefine elegance.

  • The 964 Carrera 4 (2020)

The partnership debuted with a reimagined Porsche 964 Carrera 4. Coated in a brilliant white inspired by ALD’s Manhattan flagship store, the car became a symbol of precision and style. Its interior showcased Schott sunflower leather and Loro Piana houndstooth, elevating its luxury appeal. From the dashboard to the steering wheel, every element reflected meticulous craftsmanship. Exterior details, like the classic Pegasus logo and a custom rear grille badge, celebrated Porsche’s racing heritage.

  • The Olive-Toned 911 SC (2021)

Teddy Santis’s love for the vintage 911 SC inspired this second project, finished in a classic olive exterior. This model featured details reminiscent of Santis’s Greek childhood, such as roof racks and auxiliary lights. Inside, Persian carpets adorned the floor and door panels, while crème bouclé and leather covered the seats. This restoration celebrated how products age gracefully over time.

  • The 356 B Revival (2023)

The partnership returned to Porsche’s roots with a reimagined 1960 Porsche 356 B. Sporting a Midnight Blue exterior, brushed aluminum alloy wheels, and white wall tires, the car embodied post-war sophistication. Inside, tartan-accented Midnight Blue leather and alpaca floor mats continued the theme of elegance. The bumper-free design streamlined its classic silhouette, making this tribute to Porsche’s original sportscar even more striking.

  • The 993 Turbo Evolution (2024)

The latest collaboration focused on the legendary Porsche 993 Turbo. Painted in ALD’s signature Mulberry Green, the car combined visual allure with technical upgrades like a Turbo S exhaust, a front splitter, and a signature rear wing. Its interior embraced a rich monochromatic aesthetic, featuring dark brown leather, lambswool, and custom accents like the “Unisphere” gear knob. This model was unveiled alongside a dedicated clothing line, underscoring the brand’s seamless blend of style and automotive excellence. The Aimé Leon Dore Porsche 993 Turbo will be on display Nov 22-23 at the ALD London Flagship, 32 Broadwick.

Through these projects, Porsche and Aimé Leon Dore celebrate a shared passion for craftsmanship, proving that timeless design can evolve into something even more extraordinary.
