TIWA SAVAGE ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM RELEASING ON AUGUST 29

Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage has officially set the release date for her long-awaited fourth studio album, This One Is Personal. The project, revealed via social media, is scheduled to drop on August 29, 2025, making it her first full-length album in five years.

In the lead-up to the reveal, Tiwa shared an evocative image on Instagram: she sits atop a stack of pastel and jewel-toned mattresses, holding a vintage silver boombox. She captioned the post with emotional honesty, calling the project a “chunk of my heart,” revealing that the album was born out of a challenging two-year period marked by pain, healing, and artistic clarity.

Among the new music on the way is “On The Low,” Tiwa’s first collaboration with Skepta, which debuted on BBC Radio 1’s New Music Show. The single, along with her earlier hit “You4Me,” are both confirmed to feature on This One Is Personal, a 15-track album that aims to blend personal intimacy with global soundscapes.

Recorded across key creative hubs: Lagos, London, Malibu, Nashville, and San Francisco. The album reflects Tiwa’s global journey and personal evolution. She characterizes it as her rawest work yet, built on real stories and emotional truth rather than a chase for trends.
