The Weeknd is on a roll. It hasn’t even been two weeks since the release of “São Paulo,” his Halloween collaboration with Anitta, and already we have something new to look forward to.
Just hours ago, he announced the release of a new single, “Open Hearts,” through a thirty-second teaser video. In the clip, he reveals that the track will be an immersive music experience exclusive to Apple, available only on the Apple Vision Pro and in Apple stores.
This strongly suggests that the song will debut with a video tailored to the Vision Pro’s unique features.
The new song, set for release on November 15, has already generated considerable buzz. Part of the excitement stems from The Weeknd giving fans at his concert in Sydney an early listen back in October.
Another reason for the hype is that “Open Hearts” joins a lineup of recent singles building anticipation for his upcoming sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.
The Weeknd certainly knows how to stoke excitement and keep fans on edge. With the fervor surrounding each release, it’s clear that fans are eagerly awaiting more, and with the anticipation reaching fever pitch, it feels like the album’s official release date can’t come soon enough.
