Over the weekend, Canadian singer, The Weekend lit up his Sao Paulo concert, where he performed Timeless, a new track featuring Playboi Carti.
The concert in Sao Paulo was similar to his previous shows in North America and Europe. The stage setup included a long, lit-up catwalk and a large, two-story structure in the middle of the floor. At the far end, a cross-shaped stage glowed with lights, opposite a giant video screen.
Minutes into the already lit-up stage, The Weekend ushers in Carti, who burst out in rhymes over a strong electronic beat, while The Weeknd sings and then switches to his smooth, soulful voice.
The song ends with a big finale. So far, there’s no word on when it will be released or what it’s called.
Earlier, The Weekend announced the arrival of his upcoming album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, which concludes a trilogy that includes ‘Dawn FM’ and ‘After Hours’.
According to a press release, this final chapter is the sum total of the project, highlighting existential and self-reflective themes. Fans are eagerly awaiting the album, fueled by teaser hints that have sparked intense anticipation.
