THE ICONIC WU-TANG NIKE DUNK IS FINALLY DROPPING WORLDWIDE

The legendary Wu-Tang Clan-inspired Nike Dunk High, originally released in an ultra-limited run of only 36 pairs in 1999, is finally set for a global comeback. Known for its striking “Killa Beez” black and yellow colorway, the Wu-Tang Dunk High has become a rare grail for sneaker collectors, reaching resale prices as high as $50,000 due to its exclusivity.

This re-release is set to drop on November 9, aligning with the 31st anniversary of Wu-Tang’s iconic debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). The revived design stays true to its roots, with premium leather in black and yellow overlays, featuring the group’s signature “W” logo on both the tongue tag and the lateral heel.

This nod to the original 1999 version not only reflects Wu-Tang’s impact on hip-hop but also marks a significant moment for the intersection of music and sneaker culture.

RZA, Wu-Tang Clan’s leader, expressed the personal and cultural significance of this sneaker, calling it a “trophy” that represents the recognition of hip-hop’s influence. For the campaign, Nike collaborated with RZA and New York Knicks players Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges, underscoring the Wu-Tang Clan’s connection with New York City and the sports world.

The Wu-Tang Dunk High will be available through Nike SNKRS and select retailers, with a price tag of $150, making it accessible to fans eager to own a piece of hip-hop and sneaker history.
