Collins Obinna Chibueze a.k.a Shaboozey, has made waves in the music scene with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 this year. This track also dominated multiple charts, becoming a crossover sensation by landing in the top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay, Pop Airplay, Adult pop Airplay and even the Rhythmic Airplay charts, making it the first single in history to achieve this.
The song, which has gone double platinum, marked Shaboozey as the second Black artist to top both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts, a distinction he shares with Beyoncé.
This success followed an impressive performance at the 2024 BET Awards, where he surprised fans by bringing out J-Kwon. Shaboozey’s debut album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, continues to chart on the Billboard 200, solidifying his place as one of the breakout stars of the year.
