Rema Shuts Down the Walker Town Concert in Kenya

Rema, the Nigerian Afrobeat star, delivered a stunning performance in Nairobi during the Walker Town concert on September 28-29, 2024. He was the headline act alongside British rapper ArrDee and Kenya’s own Bien. 

 Held at Uhuru Gardens, the concert attracted thousands of fans, singing along to his popular tracks like “Charm,” “Calm Down,” and “Dumebi.” One notable moment was when a fan threw a bra on stage, which Rema playfully incorporated into his performance, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

However, the event was also marked by disruptions, as a group of Gen Z attendees stormed the venue without tickets, causing security issues. Despite the chaos, the performances continued, and the crowd maintained high energy throughout the event. Unfortunately, some attendees reported losing their phones due to robberies during the confusion
