REMA SET TO LIGHT UP ACCOR ARENA IN PARIS AS PART OF ‘HE IS’ WORLD TOUR

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Rema has officially announced a headline show at the prestigious Accor Arena in Paris, France, scheduled for June 28, 2025. The revelation, which came through a billboard in Paris, confirms that the show is part of his ongoing world tour for his critically acclaimed sophomore album, ‘HEIS’. With a 20,300-capacity venue, this concert marks another massive milestone for Rema, further solidifying his dominance on the global music stage.

Rema’s upcoming performance at Accor Arena is not just another concert; it’s a historic moment for Afrobeats. The arena has hosted global icons like Drake, Beyoncé, and Travis Scott, and now, Rema joins the ranks of African stars like Burna Boy and Wizkid, who have previously sold out the venue. Having already sold out major venues across Europe, North America, and Africa, Rema’s Paris concert is expected to be a grand spectacle–a celebration of Afrobeats and Afrorave, his signature sonic blend.

Rema’s ‘HEIS’ album, released on July 10, 2024, has been a defining moment in his career. The album earned him his first-ever Grammy nomination for Best Global Music Album at the 67th Grammy Awards. Featuring collaborations with artists like Shallipopi and Odumodublvck, ‘HEIS’ showcases Rema’s evolution, fusing Afrobeats with a wide array of globally recognized genres. Tracks like “Benin Boys,” “Hehehe” and of course “Ozeba”  have dominated streaming platforms, making this tour one of the most anticipated in Afrobeats history.

Adding to the excitement, the Paris concert announcement came just after Rema confirmed the release of his highly anticipated single, “Baby (Is It a Crime).” The song, which fans have been demanding for what already seems like years, though just over three months, has been one of the most requested unreleased tracks in his catalog. A live performance of this song in its entirety, could very much be one of the highlights of the night.

Fans attending the June 28, 2025 concert should certainly expect a high-energy performance. Rema is known for his electrifying stage presence, and with this being part of his ‘HEIS’ world tour, the show will likely feature a setlist packed with global hits, including “Calm Down” and “Charm,” amidst a long list of other outstanding songs.

As Rema continues to break boundaries and push Afrobeats to the forefront of global music, one thing is clear–Paris is about to witness history.
