The “Ika of Africa” hitmaker went public with his thanks to the Canadian government and the city of Brampton, where he was awarded the Corporation of the City of Brampton honor. His shout-out acknowledged the warm reception and support extended to him.
The City of Brampton Award honors individuals who contribute to the community or promote Brampton globally. It recognises their positive impact, influence, and commitment to diversity, culture, and community growth.
Back in August, Portable had another career win, securing a 10-year Canadian work permit. He announced the news on Instagram, proudly showing off his visa while celebrating the long-awaited moment. “Alhamdulillahi CEO DR ZEHNATION Going to Canada, going and
coming, 10-year working permit,” he wrote, capturing a sense of relief and triumph after facing
setbacks.
