NIKE GIVES THE MERCURIAL VAPOR 1 BOOTS AN ICONIC MAKEOVER

Nike is re-releasing the iconic Mercurial Vapor 1 in three limited-edition colorways to celebrate its legacy as one of the most revolutionary soccer boots. 

The first release, featuring the original Chrome/Lime design worn by Ronaldo de Lima during the 2002 World Cup, is set to drop on December 9, 2024.

 This version merges the vintage aesthetic with modern performance, using the Vapor 16’s soleplate while maintaining the lightweight NikeSkin upper of the original design combining both the nostalgia and the present day.

Two additional colorways, Dark Cinder/Maize and Shock Orange/White, are planned for release in Spring 2025 and Summer 2025, respectively.

 Each pair will be limited to just 4,500 units globally, priced at $300, and includes a numbered keychain for collectors.
