Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has been nominated for Forward of the Year at Italy’s prestigious Gran Galà del Calcio Awards.
Lookman’s impressive performances for Atalanta last season earned him the recognition. He scored 17 goals and made 10 assists in all competitions.
The 27-year-old also starred in the UEFA Europa League final with a hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen.
Lookman is also a contender for the 2024 CAF Men’s Player of the Year award.
Atalanta and its coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, received nominations as well.
The winners will be announced on December 2nd.
