MM6 MAISON MARGIELA PRE-FALL 2025 COLLECTION REIMAGINES CLASSIC FORMAL STYLES

MM6 Maison Margiela has unveiled its Pre-Fall 2025 collection, a modern take on formalwear designed for everyday wear. In response to the oversized streetwear trend, the brand focuses on reshaping traditional styles with a more sculptural and versatile fit.

The collection brings back the dramatic shoulders for which Maison Margiela is known, blending archival influences with contemporary streetwear codes.

The collection embraces a relaxed, loose silhouette, with generous-fit blazers, oversized bags, and mannish cuts that emphasize a chic, unstructured look. Overdyed textures, inside-out denim, fluid trousers, and vintage-inspired bomber jackets further highlight the brand’s minimalist yet edgy approach.

A nod to MM6’s early menswear designs can be seen in the white peacoat and cinched denim military jackets.

For womenswear, the collection mixes bold silhouettes with fluidity, featuring oversized leather bombers, faux fur coats, and flowing silk tops.

The white peacoat, reinterpreted for a more oversized look, adds to the collection’s versatility. MM6 Maison Margiela’s ongoing collaboration with Salomon also continues, introducing co-branded fleece sweaters and other functional pieces.

The Pre-Fall 2025 collection embodies a “ready-to-wear” mindset, offering pieces meant to be lived in—blurring the line between everyday garments and luxury fashion.
