SP5DER just dropped its 2025 Black Friday campaign, and they went big. Fresh from his return to freedom, Max B is front and center, marking this as his first major fashion campaign since coming home. The collab includes updated colourways of classic SP5DER pieces: three sweatsuits, a baby tee, and a matching beanie, all available now on SP5DER’s official site.
The visuals are raw and atmospheric, shot by photographer Kenneth Cappello, who followed Max B throughout New York City, from Harlem streets to night-time cityscapes. The images aim to capture that gritty, lived-in swagger that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking, a perfect visual match for SP5DER’s aesthetic and Max B’s legacy.
This matters for a few reasons. For SP5DER, founded in 2019 and known for merging streetwear with bold, subculture-driven graphics, pairing with Max B is a statement about identity, heritage, and authenticity. The move signals the brand’s confidence in tapping into New York’s underground energy, and in leveraging icons who’ve shaped that energy.
