Liverpool and adidas have unveiled a striking new third kit, drenched in a bold sea-green palette that feels both fresh and nostalgic. The colorway, often referred to internally as “Sea Green,” harkens back to the club’s alternative kits from the 1990s, channeling the essence of EQT-era styles with confidence and flair.
A key highlight: the return of the adidas Trefoil logo, making its first appearance on a Liverpool kit since the 1990–91 season. On the opposite chest, the design also revives the club’s classic 1987–1992 crest, fusing iconic visual nostalgia with a clean, contemporary cut.
Adidas Senior Design Director Jürgen Rank explained the kit’s creative heartbeat: it was meant to “speak to Liverpool’s incredible heritage while feeling distinctly modern.” With the Trefoil motif and vintage crest united through that signature green, the design becomes a spirited tribute to the club’s golden eras.
The release arrives as the first third strip under Liverpool’s renewed multi-year kit deal with adidas, a move celebrated by fans and the club alike. Home and away kit sales have already surged by 700% compared to last season, reflecting the excitement over the Three Stripes’ return.
The new sea-green third kit is now available globally and comes in several fits, short sleeve, long sleeve, and an all-new cropped version, to suit every fan’s style or game-day need.
