JIMMY CHOO TRAVELS TO JAPAN FOR FW2025 MENS COLLECTION

Jimmy Choo’s latest men’s campaign, shot on location in Japan, revives tradition with a modern edge. Creative Director Sandra Choi collaborates with guest style curator Motofumi “Poggy” Kogi and Campaign Creative Director Takuya Chiba to blend British heritage with Japanese street sensibility, “tradition that isn’t always traditional,” as Choi puts it.

Photographer Takay frames the collection against minimalist urban backdrops, brick walls, stoops, and industrial walkways, allowing the footwear to command attention. Highlighted styles like the exaggerated tassel loafer in burnished mocha, quilted “Diamond Maxi” sneakers, and rugged lace-up boots stand out against subdued tailoring. Styling remains clean and sharp: knit layers under blazers, structured coats over leather shorts, meeting restraint with precision.

The campaign’s short film amps up the energy with rapid cuts, freeze-frames, and subtle color fades, bringing life to the collection in a way still photography can’t capture. While the Japanese setting feels muted in the visuals, the video brings a kinetic vibrancy that echoes the brand’s push for cultural dialogue.
