Jacquemus has officially opened its first U.S. store, named “The New York Boutique,” in Manhattan’s SoHo district. The brand’s founder, Simon Porte Jacquemus, partnered with architecture firm OMA to design the space, drawing inspiration from Parisian and Provincial aesthetics. The boutique occupies a 19th-century brick townhouse, spread across two floors and covering 2,906 square feet.
The interior, crafted to embody a minimalist yet inviting atmosphere, features light wood and white stucco elements. The store’s floor tiles were inspired by French castle pavements, while custom ironwork, including clothing racks and staircase railings, was created by an Italian artisan. A vibrant touch comes from banana-yellow curtains.
In addition to its architectural features, the boutique displays furniture from iconic designers like Frank Lloyd Wright and Jean Dunand. It also showcases artwork by renowned artists, including Joan Miró and Wolfgang Tillmans.
Located at 143 Spring Street, the boutique reflects Jacquemus’ blend of fashion and art, bringing a piece of Paris to New York City.
