As part of the electrifying Homecoming 2025 weekend experience, HI-FI Lagos returns with a bang, offering a vibrant celebration of electronic music, underground culture, and sonic innovation. Set for Friday, April 18th at the iconic Ultima Studios, Lekki, this late-night affair promises to be an immersive journey into the heart of house, techno, Afro-electronic, and experimental soundscapes, running from 10 PM until late.
Curated with a distinct global flair and deep respect for Africa’s growing electronic scene, the HI-FI Lagos roster features a powerful A–Z lineup. ANIKO, representing Group Therapy, is known for her boundary-pushing sets and ethereal selections, delivering deeply emotional blends. COCO EM, the East African powerhouse from Nairobi, is set to light up the night with her high-energy Afro-house and experimental fusion of gqom, kuduro, and global bass. DEL NOI of Element House brings a groove-driven approach to underground house rhythms, delivering deep, percussive sets with hypnotic flair. DOGHOUSETV, a creative collective-turned-DJ force, are known for their rave-ready, genre-crossing energy.
LABOOMZ, a staple of Lagos’ nightlife, merges amapiano, Afro-tech, and futuristic edits to craft pulse-racing performances, while NEKTUNEZ, globally recognized for his viral Afro-fusion edits, including “Ameno Amapiano,” adds a familiar flavor to the lineup.
The South African duo SONS OF UBUNTU, affiliated with Sweat It Out, channel deep tribal house and ancestral rhythms with a spiritual undercurrent, while Nigerian superstar Dj SPINALL is set to surprise fans with a rare and exclusive house set, showcasing his dynamic range beyond Afrobeats.
WEAREALLCHEMICALS brings a mysterious and mind-bending edge to the night, often defying genre boundaries with minimalist, electro, and acid-tinged techno. YANFSSSS, known for glitchy, experimental performances, brings a balance of chaos and control that keeps the crowd guessing, and YOSA, a Lagos-based selector and tastemaker, rounds out the lineup with his signature percussive layering, Afro-futuristic flair, and underground house magic.
