GALLERY DEPT. is reuniting with UGG for a second collaboration, emphasizing sustainability and a rodeo-ready aesthetic. Following their initial partnership in February, where they adorned UGG’s iconic Tasman Slipper and Classic Short Boot with vibrant jewels, this new release showcases Josué Thomas’s commitment to upcycling.
At the core of this collection is a reimagined Cowboy Boot, crafted from regenerative leather, recycled denim, and surplus canvas bags. The standout UGG GALLERY DEPT. Stitched Boot features a neutral brown color adorned with intricate embroidery and a sturdy lug outsole, making it both stylish and functional, with most of its materials being waterproof.
Another highlight is the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Denim Boot, which is made entirely from recycled denim and boasts a unique one-of-a-kind design. Additionally, the range includes two Canvas styles: the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Canvas Boot and the UGG GALLERY DEPT. Canvas Tasman, both constructed from recycled canvas bags. Notably, the Canvas Boot incorporates practical features such as a handle, pocket, and clip, enhancing its utility.
Consumers can expect to see these innovative pieces available for purchase at the end of next week, reflecting GALLERY DEPT.’s creative vision and dedication to eco-friendly fashion. For a closer look at all four designs, check out the gallery featured above.
