FIRST LOOK: KAWS x AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK CONCEPT

The KAWS x Audemars Piguet collaboration introduces the Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon “Companion”, a groundbreaking timepiece merging KAWS’ art with Audemars Piguet’s horological expertise. 

This watch features a miniature gray sculpture of KAWS’ signature “Companion” figure integrated into the dial, showcasing a playful yet intricate design. Crafted from lightweight titanium, it boasts a tourbillon movement, reflecting AP’s commitment to technical innovation.

This collaboration stems from KAWS’ fascination with high-end watches and builds upon AP’s history of creative partnerships, such as their Marvel-themed designs. Additionally, KAWS has placed a large-scale inflatable “Companion” on the roof of Audemars Piguet’s headquarters in Switzerland, extending the collaboration beyond the wristwatch.

The watch officially debuted on November 19, 2024, and is expected to appeal to both art collectors and watch enthusiasts. 

It’s expected to be valued at $200,000 and only 250 pieces made.
