Returning to the country for the first time in eight years with the Anita Max Wynn Tour.
Drake recently made waves during a livestream with gaming streamer xQc, where he confirmed an Australian tour set for early 2025. Titled the Anita Max Wynn Tour, the Canadian rapper revealed that he’ll be kicking off the performances in Australia, staying there for about a month.
The tour is slated to begin on February 9, 2025, and will run until early March. “For anyone in Australia watching, I’m coming back for the first time in eight years. Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast… February 9th ’til like… March something,” Drake shared. While exact venues haven’t been announced yet, he hinted at appearances in major cities across the country, focusing exclusively on Australia for this leg of the tour.
Drake’s last visit to Australia was in 2017 during his Boy Meets World Tour. The name of the new tour, Anita Max Wynn, nods to a viral moment from his December 2024 Kick live stream, where he introduced an alter ego inspired by the gambling term “I need a max win.”
During the same livestream with xQc, Drake also revealed exciting news about his upcoming joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, stating that it’s “75% done.”
Fans can expect more details on the tour and album soon. Stay tuned!
