DIOR AW26 DEBUT: THE LILY HEEL BLOOMS ON THE RUNWAY

For his Autumn/Winter 2026 debut at Dior, creative director Jonathan Anderson introduced a playful and unexpected footwear statement: the Lily Heel.

The design features a rounded sole inspired by a floating lily pad, finished in textured green embroidery, with a sculpted flower blooming at the toe. This whimsical detail directly references the runway’s Jardin des Tuileries setting, where models circled a pond dotted with artificial lilies, merging the natural with the sartorial.

Anderson’s Lily Heel exemplifies the designer’s approach to AW26: combining fantasy, playfulness, and refined elegance. The piece blends Dior’s couture sophistication with a lighthearted touch, proving that innovation can be both artistic and wearable.

By reimagining how a shoe interacts with its surroundings, Anderson pushes the boundaries of footwear design, making the Lily Heel a standout moment in Dior’s AW26 collection.
