DAVIDO & FRIENDS BIRTHDAY CONCERT: CELEBRATING A MILESTONE IN ATLANTA

Nigerian music superstar Davido is set to light up Atlanta’s State Farm Arena today, November 21, 2024, with the highly anticipated Davido & Friends Birthday Concert. 

 This event promises to be a grand celebration, not just marking Davido’s birthday but also commemorating the 5th anniversary of his groundbreaking sophomore album, A Good Time.

Released in 2019, A Good Time remains one of the artists’ most remarkable projects featuring iconic hits like Fall, If, and Risky. The album set a new standard for Afrobeats, amassing millions of streams worldwide and earning critical acclaim for its blend of vibrant African rhythms and global appeal.

 Five years later, its legacy remains monumental, and it is no surprise that Davido is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its release anniversary in style.  

The lineup for the concert reflects Davido’s commitment to giving his fans an unforgettable experience. The Compozers, a dynamic live band known for their electrifying performances, will be thrilling the audience and they will be joined by Mayorkun, the “Mayor of Lagos” and Davido’s protégé who has himself become a domineering force in the music industry. Darkoo, the UK-based artist blending Afrobeats with R&B, and Musa Keys, the South African amapiano sensation, are also bringing their infectious vibes and distinct melodies to the show. 

Then there’s Odumodublvck, Nigeria’s genre-defying rapper making waves globally. He is certainly going to be a highlight for the night and certainly, fans will be thrilled by his performance. CuhDeeJah, Emerson, and surprise guests from the AGT album era will round out the performances.
