In mark of grime legends Boy Better Know’s 20th anniversary, London streetwear icon Corteiz has delivered its first-ever collaborative capsule with the iconic collective. The launch comes after over a year of teasing, from surprise freestyle clips worn in Corteiz gear to festival sightings at Wireless and Glastonbury. The official announcement took the form of a BBK-style cypher video featuring Skepta, JME, Frisco, Shorty, and Jammer, all dressed head-to-toe in the new collection.
This limited-edition drop blends grime’s raw legacy with Corteiz’s unapologetic design language. Signature pieces include a reimagined Boy Better Know logo tee featuring Corteiz branding, and two exclusive tracksuit styles updated with BBK detailing. Among the most visually striking pieces is a mesh shirt referencing the Too Many Man video, with Skepta’s clown face graphic, and an updated version of his classic Lake Elsinore New Era cap, bringing nostalgia back on fresh terms.
The collection is presented primarily in black and white, mirroring BBK’s early merch aesthetic while honoring their heritage in UK street culture. This drop goes beyond standard collabs; Corteiz previously paid homage to grime visuals by partnering with pioneering photographer Simon Wheetley. Now, through this official alignment with BBK, the brand cements itself as a genuine steward of underground UK artistry.
