Cardi B has welcomed her third child with Offset, just a month after filing for divorce. The rapper took to her Instagram to share the news, announcing the arrival of a baby girl. Cardi first revealed her pregnancy in early August, shortly after filing for divorce from her husband, Offset, a member of the Migos group.
In her previous Instagram post, Cardi offered fans a glimpse into her family life, sharing touching moments from the hospital after the birth. Alongside the post, she penned a heartfelt message, stating, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I’m beyond grateful to have shared this season with you, bringing me more love, life, and a renewed sense of power.” She went on to express how her newborn, along with her two other children, has inspired her to keep moving forward despite life’s challenges. “You’ve reminded me that I don’t have to choose between life, love, and my passion. I can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me achieve.”
Despite welcoming their new baby girl, Cardi and Offset finalized their divorce a month ago, with the rapper previously stating in legal documents that the couple had “irreconcilable differences” and there was “no chance of reconciliation.” In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Cardi reflected on her relationship with Offset, saying, “We’ve always been best friends. It’s not just about love, but having that support system. Sometimes, it’s not about leaving a partner—it’s about losing your best friend.”
Offset has yet to share or comment on Cardi’s post about their new baby, but he was present in the photo she posted on Instagram.
