Burna Boy And Davido To Headline First-Ever NPFL

Nigerian music giants Davido and Burna Boy are set to headline the first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) All-Star Game.

The spectacle, organized in collaboration with Nilayo Sports Management, will pit the North’s best players against the South’s top talents in a show-stopping event that blends football with music.

NPFL Chairman Gbenga Elegbeleye emphasized that the All-Star Game is part of efforts to bring more spotlight to the local league, following the success of last year’s Super 6 tournament.

Nilayo Sports Management, led by Bukola Olopade, was chosen to ensure the event oozes the kind of glamour that could attract both fans and corporate sponsors.

“We want to make this league a fixture of Nigerian football, with Davido, Burna Boy, and other A-list acts gracing the stage, it’s going to be more than just a game,” Elegbeleye noted.

Celebrity coaches will also join the lineup, guiding their teams of Northern and Southern conference stars, with players walking away with N1 million each for their appearances.
