Lagos-based label Bonfo has officially dropped its latest collection, “My Bonfo (Pt. 2),” and it’s already circulating across group chats, moodboards, and style pages. Known for weaving cultural storytelling into contemporary tailoring, the brand leans deeper into identity, heritage, and community with this new release.
At the heart of the collection is Sugarcane, a red-striped set inspired by the sweetness exchanged between lovers. It captures the softness and flirtation of intimate conversations, the kind of gentle back-and-forth that forms the backbone of romantic connection.

Then there’s Television (also called Riddle), a green patterned look rooted in Eastern Nigerian culture. The piece pulls from the communal energy of storytelling, the way people gather, share riddles, laugh, and build unity.

You Leave, I Leave steps into themes of loyalty and devotion. Rendered in red, the ensemble promotes faithfulness between couples, offering a symbolic take on partnership and commitment. It’s bold but intentional, merging cultural significance with everyday wearability.

The collection closes with Black Linen, a minimalist yet meaningful standout. Crafted from flax-derived cellulose fibers, the fabric is eco-friendly, breathable, biodegradable, and deeply comfortable. It’s Bonfo showing that sustainability doesn’t have to be loud to be luxurious, sometimes simplicity carries the clearest message.

Altogether, My Bonfo (Pt. 2) strengthens the brand’s position in Lagos’ creative landscape. Each piece tells a story, but collectively they underline what Bonfo does best: merging culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary flair into clothing that feels lived-in, loved, and truly local.
