Billboard’s newly released list of the Top 50 Best Afrobeats Songs of All Time places 2Baba’s timeless hit “African Queen” at the very top. This 2004 classic continues to resonate deeply, reaffirming its status as a foundational anthem in the genre’s history.

Wizkid emerges as the only artist with two tracks in the top 10, with “Ojuelegba” landing at #2 and “Essence”(featuring Tems) at #5, demonstrating his substantial influence on Afrobeats’ global reach. Notable placements include Favour’s “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)” at #3 and Rema’s international smash “Calm Down” at #4. Rounding out the top 10 are CKay’s “Love Nwantiti”, D’banj’s “Oliver Twist”, Davido’s “Fall”, Burna Boy’s “Ye”, and P-Square’s “Chop My Money Remix” (feat. Akon).
