KAYTRANADA, the celebrated Haitian-Canadian music producer, rapper, singer, and DJ, kicked off his highly anticipated North American tour for his latest album, TIMELESS, with an electrifying start.
The tour, announced on July 16, 2024, spans from November 3, 2024, to February 15, 2025, and began with a bang on Sunday at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium.
The opening show was nothing short of spectacular, featuring special guests like American rapper and record producer Channel Tres, Ghanaian-American alté singer Amaarae, and Nigerian alté rapper DETO BLACK, who joined Amaarae on stage.
Their high-energy performances thrilled the audience, who screamed and sang along with every beat.
With such an exciting start, this tour promises to be a staggering success as it moves to more North American cities.
Upcoming shows include stops at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center in Las Vegas on November 9, 2024, Desert Air in Palm Springs on November 15, 2024, and Better Together in Chandler, AZ, from November 22-23.
In the new year, KAYTRANADA will take the tour globally, with shows lined up in Australia, South Africa, and Mexico.
Fans can also look forward to other special appearances along the way, including sets from American DJ and producer Kitty Ca$h and Haitian-Canadian rapper and producer Lou Phelps.
The album TIMELESS, released on June 7, 2024, has been a triumph among critics and fans alike, reaching number 2 on the U.S. Top Dance/Electronic Albums (Billboard) chart. Featuring collaborations with Lou Phelps, Don Toliver, Channel Tres, Tinashe, Anderson Paak, Childish Gambino, Thundercat, and PinkPantheress, among others, the album showcases an impressive blend of talent and genre diversity.
