Afrobeats superstar Asake continues to dominate the global music scene with his ongoing Lung Boy World Tour. The tour, which kicked off in August 2024 with a series of electrifying performances across North America, has included stops in major cities like Washington D.C., Atlanta, Houston, and the world-famous Madison Square Garden in New York. These performances were in support of his third studio album, with hits like “Wave” featuring Central Cee and “Only Me” energizing fans across the continent.
During Asake’s recent concert in Paris, Central Cee made a surprise guest appearance, thrilling the crowd by performing their collaborative track “Wave” together. This unexpected moment added to the excitement of the show, which is part of Asake’s ongoing “Lungu Boy World Tour.”
Currently, Asake is making waves across Europe. His recent performance at Le Zénith Paris in late September wowed nearly 20,000 fans with a setlist full of his most popular tracks like “Sungba” and “Omo Ope.” The concert highlighted his unmatched ability to blend street anthems with heartfelt, melodic rhythms, as his captivating stage presence and infectious beats had the audience enthralled.
The European leg of his tour is still ongoing, with his highly anticipated Dublin show at the 3Arena scheduled for October 1st.

During his Paris tour, Nigerian artist Asake allegedly smashed a fan’s iPhone 16 Pro Max. The incident reportedly took place after his performance, when the fan attempted to take a picture with him. According to sources, Asake was allegedly intoxicated at the time and broke the phone during the interaction.
Regardless, Asake’s “Lung Boy” journey will conclude on October 6, 2024, with a final show in Gold Coast, Australia. Fans across the globe are eagerly awaiting what comes next from the artist as he continues to redefine the Afrobeats genre on a global scale.
