Apple has officially revealed the MacBook Neo, a new entry-level laptop designed to bring the Mac experience to a wider audience.
With a starting price of $599 — or $499 for students — it becomes the most accessible MacBook in the company’s lineup.
The device features a 13-inch LCD display powered by Apple’s A18 Pro chip, paired with 8GB of RAM and storage options of either 256GB or 512GB.
Apple says the laptop can deliver up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Visually, the MacBook Neo arrives in four finishes: silver, indigo, blush, and citrus, giving the entry-level machine a more playful color palette.
Pre-orders are now open, with the laptop set to officially launch on March 11.
