AMBUSH, the Tokyo-based fashion and jewelry brand founded by designer YOON and music producer VERBAL, is set to release its first large-format book in collaboration with Rizzoli. Scheduled for publication on March 4, 2025, the monograph offers an in-depth exploration of AMBUSH’s archives, chronicling the brand’s evolution from its inception in 2008 to its current status as a significant force in fashion and streetwear.
The book features a foreword by Adrian Bianco of sabukaru and includes an extensive interview with YOON and VERBAL, providing insights into the brand’s history and creative journey. It showcases detailed archival photographs of AMBUSH’s early jewelry pieces, such as the iconic “POW!” rings and chains inspired by American pop art and manga, as well as their later unisex ready-to-wear collections. Contributions from notable figures like Pharrell Williams, Kid Cudi, Jun Takahashi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, G-Dragon, and Kim Jones further enrich the narrative, highlighting AMBUSH’s influence across various industries.

In line with AMBUSH’s innovative aesthetic, the book is designed with a unique perforated canvas hardcover, emblazoned with a large AMBUSH logo. This design allows glimpses of campaign images and product details through the perforations, creating a visual collage that reflects the brand’s creative ethos. The monograph is available for pre-order through Rizzoli’s website at a price of $65 USD and will be available in AMBUSH boutiques and select retailers following its release.
