Amanda Seyfried made a chic and sustainable fashion statement at the Venice Film Festival by wearing the same Versace outfit that Julia Roberts debuted just days earlier.
The first appearance by Roberts took place at the photocall for After the Hunt on August 29, 2025, where she styled an oversize navy blazer with a yellow-striped button-down and jeans. Up next, on September 1, for The Testament of Ann Lee photocall, Seyfried reposted the ensemble almost identically, maintaining the relaxed sleeve roll and baggy jeans, while switching up shoes.
The moment was made possible by stylist Elizabeth Stewart, to whom both actresses are credited. Seyfried asked via Instagram if she could borrow the look, to which Roberts kindly agreed. Stewart celebrated the gesture online with captions like “Sharing is caring!” It offered an unspoken soft launch of Versace’s new artistic direction under Dario Vitale, through one seamless look, worn by two icons, building anticipation ahead of his formal reveal.
