AIMÉ LEON DORE PREPARES LOS ANGELES STORE AND FIRST WOMEN’S COLLECTION, TEDDY SANTIS SAYS

Teddy Santis has revealed the next phase for Aimé Leon Dore, confirming plans for a new retail store and the brand’s first dedicated women’s collection.

In a message shared with the label’s subscriber community, Santis reflected on the evolution of the New York-born brand and hinted at major developments arriving in the coming months. Among them is a new ALD retail location rumored to open in Los Angeles, marking a significant West Coast expansion for the label.

The announcement also confirmed that Aimé Leon Dore will introduce its first-ever womenswear-focused collection, a milestone for a brand that has largely centered its identity on menswear since launching in 2014.

Santis used the note to acknowledge the early supporters who helped shape the brand’s culture, explaining that growth has pushed ALD far beyond its early days when operations were “small and personal.” He also shared that he plans to communicate more directly with the brand’s community through occasional letters tied to major releases and moments.

From its roots in New York’s Mulberry Street flagship, Aimé Leon Dore has grown into one of the most influential labels in modern streetwear and contemporary fashion, known for blending ’90s New York aesthetics, sportswear references, and refined tailoring.

With a new store on the horizon and womenswear entering the mix, Santis signaled that the upcoming season marks “the beginning of a new chapter” for the brand.
