A$AP Rocky has officially pulled out of his scheduled performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival 2024, set to take place this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Thursday, September 19, the rapper announced via Instagram that he would no longer be part of the event due to illness.
“Unfortunately, I got sick and won’t be able to perform at the @iHeartFestival,” Asap Rocky wrote on his Instagram Story. “I’m sorry to my fans and thankful to @iHeartRadio for the opportunity! I was really excited to share some new music with y’all. Enjoy the show — the lineup is 🔥🔥.”

Despite Rocky’s absence, the festival still boasts a star-studded roster, including performances from Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban, The Weeknd, and more. The event, hosted at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, will also feature a special appearance by Coldplay’s Chris Martin on Friday, September 20, and Saturday, September 21. Ryan Seacrest will serve as the event’s host, with appearances from celebrities like Paris Hilton, Tiffany Haddish, and Lance Bass as presenters.
Rocky’s canceled performance could have included new tracks from his highly anticipated fourth album, Don’t Be Dumb. The project, which was initially slated for release on August 30, has been delayed due to sample clearance issues and leaks. Rocky shared that he’s working to make the album his best yet, after a six-year wait. Fans have already heard three singles from the upcoming project: “HIGHJACK” (featuring Jessica Pratt), “Tailor Swift,” and “Ruby Rosary” (featuring J. Cole)
