MM6 MAISON MARGIELA : FALL 2025

MM6 Maison Margiela unveiled its Fall/Winter 2025 collection as a guest designer at Pitti Uomo 107 in Florence. The event took place at the Giardino dell’Orticoltura, where a luminous white conservatory set the stage for the presentation. This venue choice paid homage to Maison Margiela’s 2006 “white-out” show at Pitti Uomo, creating a minimalist backdrop that contrasted with the collection’s rich color palette.

The collection explored the nuances of black, ranging from deep burgundy to shades reminiscent of gaffer tape. Models showcased a blend of tailored and sensual pieces, including faux mink garments, lurex-infused designs, and modular accessories like gloves and motorcycle helmets. Notably, pagoda shoulders drew inspiration from jazz legend Miles Davis’s wardrobe, and a striking aqua suit added a vibrant touch to the lineup.

MM6’s presentation at Pitti Uomo signifies a strategic move to engage with a broader menswear audience, aligning with the brand’s commitment to innovation and reinterpretation of classic styles. By choosing this prestigious platform, MM6 Maison Margiela not only honored its historical roots but also demonstrated its evolving approach to contemporary fashion.
