YZY X GOSHA RUBCHINSKIY DROP A 9-PIECE CAPSULE

YZY, the fashion label founded by Ye (formerly Kanye West), has unveiled a new nine-piece capsule collection designed by Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy. The collection features minimalist essentials, including tight-fitting t-shirts, cropped hoodies, sweatpants, shorts, and socks, all presented in a monochromatic palette of white, gray, and black. A distinctive element of the collection is the use of Cyrillic typography, inspired by The New York Herald Tribune and Jean-Luc Godard’s film “Breathless,” adding a unique cultural touch to the designs.

This collaboration marks Rubchinskiy’s first project as the new creative director of YZY, a role he assumed in December 2024. Known for his previous work with brands like Adidas, Rubchinskiy brings a fresh perspective to YZY, blending his Russian heritage with contemporary fashion trends. The collection’s standout feature is the phrase “Black Dog” printed in Russian on several pieces, paying homage to Rubchinskiy’s roots and adding an enigmatic element to the apparel.
