GUNNA MADE A SURPRISE APPEARANCE AT STREET SOUK

Street Souk, Nigeria’s premier streetwear convention, concluded its latest edition in Lagos with resounding success. The event, held on December 22, 2024, attracted a vibrant crowd of fashion enthusiasts, designers, and artists, all celebrating the dynamic streetwear culture that has been rapidly evolving in the region. Attendees were treated to a diverse array of local and international brands, interactive installations, and live performances, solidifying Street Souk’s reputation as a pivotal platform for creative expression in West Africa.

The highlight of the evening was an unexpected appearance by American rapper Gunna. Gunna’s presence underscored the growing global recognition of Nigeria’s streetwear scene and its cultural significance. 

Gunna also performed at Flytime’s Rhythm unplugged as a headliner on the same day. Videos capturing his performance have since circulated widely on social media, amplifying the event’s impact beyond the immediate attendees. Burna boy and Tyla also made a surprise appearance on gunna’s set which got fans excited.
