Nigerian singer-songwriter Qing Madi is set to release her highly anticipated debut album, “I AM THE BLUEPRINT” on January 31st, 2025, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning music career.
The album’s rollout commenced with the release of the lead single, “Goosebumps,” on October 25th and earlier this month, Qing Madi teased two tracks from the album; “ALIBOMAYE,” and “AKANCHAWA,” generating further excitement among her fanbase as she offered them a glimpse into the project’s direction and sound. From what we can see, it is clear that she is set to light the place up with some solid music.
Qing Madi’s rise in the music industry has been marked by notable achievements, including her selection as the Spotify Africa Equal Ambassador in June 2023 and her induction into Apple Music’s Africa Rising Class of 2024.
Her self-titled debut EP, released in November 2023, received critical acclaim and featured the hit single “Ole,” a collaboration with Bnxn, which peaked at number 12 on the TurnTable Top 100. This year, she has been fairly active and she certainly has a busy new year ahead.
As the release date approaches, fans eagerly await the album, her debut, anticipating a collection that showcases Qing Madi’s growth as an artist and her unique blend of Afrobeats, pop, soul, and R&B influences.
