On December 15, 2024, Rema brought his high-energy performance to the iconic Eagle Square in Abuja as part of a duo concert for the season. The event marked the first of two major performances in Nigeria, with the Lagos leg scheduled for December 22 at Eko Atlantic. The Abuja concert was a massive celebration of the global Afrobeat star’s achievements, including his international hit Calm Down, which continues to dominate charts worldwide.
The night featured electrifying performances of Rema’s chart-topping hits, including Dumebi, Holiday, DND and Charm as well as more recent sensational tracks off his sophomore album, HEIS. He performed Ozeba a whopping five times! No surprise, given the infectious energy of the song. He also performed Azaman, March Am and War Machine featuring the industry machine himself, Odumodu Blvck–and yes, Odumodu joined him on stage to perform this one. Featured as a guest performer at the rave was Rema’s fellow MAVIN RECORDS artist, Crayon.
He performed Favorite Girl as well, an absolutely amazing hit track by super talented artist, Darkoo which he was featured on. As the cherry on top of the cake, he gave a beautiful performance of his unreleased song, Is It a Crime? which fans were literally singing along to, word for word. An unreleased song! Amazing!!
